Metablast's principal investigator, Eve Syrkin Wurtele, traveled to India at the end of 2010 to spread news about biology and Metablast. Eve gave lectures at several locations, including Birla Industrial and Technological Museum in Kolkata.

Eve also visited the Metablast exhibit at Science City in Kolkata. Science City is a state-of-the-art indoors-outdoors science museum. This particular building includes a giant spiral walkway. Start at the top, and walk down past exhibits on physics, chemistry, and biology. The museum is the largest science museum in India, with 1.5 million visitors per year.
